A message from Stillness Trainings.....

Wishing you a healthy and fruitful 2017 with dreams fulfilled and many beautiful Blessings to support and guide you through the year.

As a “one” year numerologically, 2017 promises new beginnings and the opportunity to shed our unhelpful patterns and to live more in the present and manifest an unencumbered future.

  • Would you like to experience the health in your body and grow that health?
  • Do you realise the need to take more responsibility for yourself and would like help to find ways to do that?
  • Would you like to enjoy easier, healthier and more meaningful relationships with family, friends, with a partner, and people in general?
  • Do you have the tendency to take on others physical and emotional pain and find it can affect your own health and wellbeing? Stillness Trainings offers you workshops and trainings that can support you to discover yourself and learn how to achieve what you want in your life, your health and in your relationships.

Our first two-day workshop for the year has filled, however we are offering it again in April in the lead-up to a new two-year practitioner training, which begins 2 - 4 June.

These two days are filled with the experiences of mindfulness, stillness, and the opportunity to come into present-moment awareness where time can slow down as you come into a sensory experience of yourself and your environment.  The skills you will take away with you will be a support in all of your relationships – yourself, family, pets, friends and colleagues as well as the environment.

If you ever have the experience where people, places and things may irritate, anger or challenge you, the workshop offers you the opportunity to experience the health, wisdom and easy steps of self-responsibility, and also the potency of non-judgement and unconditional love.  It also offers those who have the tendency to take on others physical and emotional pain, effective strategies to develop firm boundaries and the opportunity to grow healthy relationships.

Please take time to consider the benefit to you of spending two sublime days immersed in the experience of “Being, in Relationship" in the beautiful Bays Hall Community Centre in Woy Woy Bay.

Date: April 1 - 2

Start each day 9am -- Finish 5.30 pm

A comprehensive workshop booklet, caffeine-free light vegetarian and gluten-free refreshments and lunch are included.

Full Fee: $399
Early Bird: $350 (paid in full by 10 March, 2017)

Please note that PACT members receive a 10% discount on all Stillness Trainings Post Graduate courses and further discounts apply to current students and graduates of Stillness Trainings.

This workshop - “Presence and Being” - offers students, graduates, and health professionals ideal continuing education and deepening of skills.

The workshop is a pre-requisite for the full practitioner training, which is scheduled to begin 2 - 4 June 2017.

All of the foundation skills and more are built on and developed in the 2-year practitioner training, in which some students enrol purely for self-development purposes.  The skills you will learn in the training offer you the tools for self-healing in many, if not all aspects of life.

Have you attended a workshop and are still unsure of your readiness, or if this is the right path for you?  Please do review the workshop, which is offered to you at half price: $199.75

Places are limited in both the workshop and professional practitioner training.

Please contact Terry Collinson (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) for an application form and for further information.

The vagus is a gift that keeps on giving. There is a huge stream of new science that keeps emphasising how important vagal activity is to health and happiness. The vagus regulates oxygen control, feeling safe, digestion and the immune system. That's a huge range of function.
This workshop will explore how we can optimise the activity of the vagal nerves to support health. The ear, throat, heart brain and belly brain are all very powerful ways of improving vagal tone via direct contact.

How can we help people be in less pain? This is a really big question.
Pain occurs when the intelligence in the body decides something is unsafe. Chronic pain is usefully thought of as a reflex or habit that is out of sync with the current state of the tissues. Chronic pain is a fault in the alarm systems.
The model offered in this workshop is that if we can safely feed the brain essential sensations about the body ('nerve flow') we can break cycles of pain. This workshop will explore where the information comes from that helps the brain feel and the best ways to stimulate pathways that enhance the control of the body.
